Spring Cleaning
Spring is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to give your homes and fences a fresh paint job. As part of an HOA, the homeowner is responsible for ensuring that your home’s siding and fencing are kept up with throughout the year. Should your homes begin to show fading in colors or if you have painted or stained your fence yet, now is the time to do so. The HOA office will be inspecting the homes in the community over the next few weeks to note the homes that are due for a paint job. Once that is determined, we will send notices to you to have the work done – So, if you think this may apply to your home and fence, we recommend getting ahead of the crowd and scheduling the maintenance as soon as possible.

Well-planned landscaping is recognized as an asset to the neighborhoods of Carnes Crossroads, providing a more healthful and beautiful place to live, as well as being beneficial to home sales and property values. Maintaining and weeding your landscape beds and street trees are crucial for the neighborhood’s aesthetic appeal. Neighborhood inspections will be carried out over the next few weeks.

If you plan on changing the existing colors or any lawn modification, please refer to the Design Guidelines, which can be found below under helpful links or on the CarnesPOA.org web page. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the HOA office.

Pollinator Garden
We want to give special thanks to Terry Parkman for all of his hard work enhancing the neighborhood’s pollinator garden with fresh soil and a new fence. The park is now in need of foliage plants or plants that attract butterflies and other pollinators. If you would like to donate a plant, put it in a black plastic pot labeled with the type of plant and leave it inside the fence in the garden. Lawn art will also be appreciated.
